Massachusetts Water Resources Authority's presentations demonstrate water's vital role in natural ecosystems. Students learn how water works in their own lives and how they can protect and conserve water. Students build awareness and respect for water as renewable but limited resource.

Grade K -- Discussion of students' water use, awareness of water in students' homes and in school. "The Day the Water Stopped" examines the importance of water in daily lives of the students.

Grade 3 -- Discussion of how water pressure, public health and safetey, maintenance, repair and planning of water infrastructure. In "Building the System" students build a model water distribution system throughout the classroom.
