
Michael LaFosse: Origami
In this program, paper master Michael LaFosse is an internationally renowned origami master, who has exhibited his artwork at the Louvre and the Peabody Essex Museum, among others. He shows students examples of his extraordinary art and then uses the paper art form of origami to demonstrate mathematical and geometrical principles that elementary students can understand. The results of this mathematical lesson are colorful, sculpted artwork.
