Color Day: If you have not yet volunteered for Color Day, please do if you can. It is scheduled for Thursday, June 4th. Hopefully, you have already marked your calendar. That’s an Early Release Day, with students being dismissed at 12:30 p.m. If you’d like to volunteer, please make sure that your Cori Form is on file with Debbie Mastroianni.

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Tuesday, June 2nd, is an opportunity to show our Franklin faculty how deeply we value their efforts on behalf of our children. Volunteers are needed to contribute a favorite luncheon dish, help organize and serve the luncheon, and to decorate and clean-up. Please let us know if you would like to help.

Family Picnic:  We have scheduled it for Thursday, June 18th. Look for information on ordering pizza and drinks soon.

FUNDRAISER:  CityTownInfo.com (CTI) is offering to provide Franklin with $20 for every family that completes an online career survey and an additional 25% bonus if we get 50 or more surveys!  That would be $1,250 for our school!  CTI is owned and operated by Moving Traffic, Inc., a Massachusetts-based company. Local resident and Burr parent L.J. Urbano is one of the founders.  The company is dedicated to providing its site visitors with comparative information about local U.S. communities and services found in those communities.  The source of their information includes surveys like this.  The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, it’s safe because no personally identifyable information is required and results are published anonymously.   The information collected is used to provide career information to folks in the community that are interested.  Burr and Lincoln Elliot schools have successfully participated in this fundraiser.  Check it out at http://www.citytowninfo.com/franklin.shtml
