*** THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ***
Well, definetly a busy day, around 100 volunteers, 2 large rooms and a small painted, about 30 bookcases & a bunch of other stuff painted. Tiled 2 small bathrooms, hung a bunch of hooks, bulletin boards, curtains, and sundry other objects, adjusted doors, attached more than 500 (maybe even 600) tennis balls to chairs & tables. Basically redid the coat/knapsack hanging hooks & such for a closet. Fixed some of the flag brackets in the main hall. Built 2 kid-mailboxes for 2 KG classes, a poster organizer for the gym teachers. Gardening--wow! Check the courtyard off the KG wing, it's back to lovely shape & we trimmed the hedges in front of the blue zone--hopefully we can finish the full length next year--and pulled out lots of weeds from there. There's more than that, but I can't list it all!
Everyone worked incredibly hard--and let's not forget to the folks who took care of our kids so we could be here--they're definetly part of the project, even if they didn't get to come eat the delicious food!
