Today, technology is woven into the fabric of our lives. At home, our children play computer games, spend time on the internet and listen to music on their iPods. This technology is just as prevalent in our schools. Already at Franklin, teachers use educational software to support literacy and math, students perform research on the internet, and teachers deliver presentations in multi-media form. The use of technology in school creates excitement and stirs the natural love for learning in our kids.

Within this page you can begin to experience how our children utilize technology in the classroom. You can explore a 2nd grade research project and a 5th study guide. You can also review educational benchmarks and the progress of our PTO fundraisers.

We hope this opens a window into your child’s world.

"We are now at a point where we must educate our children in what no one knew yesterday and prepare our schools for what no one knows yet.”
