Meeting with Superintendent Fleishman to discuss Franklin Leadership

Please see the message below from Superintendent David Fleishman:

Dear Franklin Community,

As you are aware, Joel announced on Monday that he has accepted a position in another district and will be leaving Franklin at the close of the school year. His dedication and commitment to the Franklin community has been greatly valued and appreciated over the past five years. I also know that Joel has cherished the many positive relationships he has built with Franklin families and students.

I am writing to invite you to a meeting next Monday night, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. where we will discuss next steps for leadership at Franklin. In addition to discussing our plan to ensure that Franklin has excellent leadership moving forward, I will also share some ideas regarding how we can address some of the painful events that have taken place over the past year in the parent/guardian community.

I hope to see many of you on Monday night.
