Creative Arts and Sciences

In-School Enrichment Programming

Through the PTO dues and ongoing support from parents like you, Franklin offers Creative Arts and Sciences (CAS) programming that is culturally diverse, cross-curricular and hands-on at least twice per year for all Franklin students. Past visitors include artists, poets, authors, storytellers, musicians, animal experts and more.

Check out this year’s schedule below and mark your calendars. Don’t forget to ask your child questions about what they learned. You’ll be surprised with their wealth of information about owls, life in Ghana, the writing process, or metamorphosis!  Better yet, take a field trip to your child's class and witness the magic yourself.  Parents are always welcome.

Lecture

Volunteer

Our Creative Arts and Sciences program depends on engaged parents to plan, organize, and support our visiting programs so that our students can get the most benefit. Commitment is 4-6 hours/year for general volunteers, and more for leadership roles.
