Valentine's Day Art Contest - Submission Deadline
Time & Location
About the Event
Hello Franklin families!!
We are very excited to announce our second art contest this year: a VALENTINE'S DAY ART CONTEST! It was absolutely amazing to see all of the submissions for the Halloween Art Contest that we had in October, so we wanted to try one with a different theme. This time, the theme is "Something You Love". Is it going to be something that you would typically see on Valentine's Day, or will you choose to do something different?
These are the rules to enter the contest:
1) You must be a current Franklin Elementary student to enter. Group submissions are not allowed.
2) The artwork must be original and the theme is "Something You Love".
3) You can use any medium (paint, watercolor, colored pencils, crayons, chalk, charcoal, etc.), and it can be on any flat surface (paper, canvas, cardstock, cardboard, etc.). The size of the flat surface can be 8.5" x 11", or of a similar size.
4) A photo of the artwork must be taken and submitted no later than 8pm EST on February 3rd through this form:
Please submit the highest quality photo you can. The photo should be no larger than 10MB in size.
We will send out a link after the submission date for the community to be able to view all of the artwork online, and one winner will be chosen for each grade by Principal Jocelyn! The six selected will receive a prize as well as have their artwork displayed on the bulletin board in the front of the school for the week before Valentine's Day.
Thanks so much for participating, and we can't wait to see all of our young artists at Franklin show how they interpret the art theme this time!
