Our Mission
The Franklin PTO facilitates communication and cooperation among parents, guardians, teachers, administrators, and staff. We work to benefit all children at Franklin Elementary. We support the efforts of the Principal, faculty, and School Council by helping them provide an optimal educational experience. We help develop a close connection between families and faculty. We promote and encourage the support of public school education in Newton. We are committed to equity, excellence, and connectedness for all.

The PTO Board consists of volunteers who help plan, organize and fundraise to support the community-building activities we love. Members include (2) Co-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, 3-5 Board Members, Principal, 2 Teacher Representatives, and the chairs of FORJ, SEPAC, CAS, and Social Action Committees.
