Dear Franklin Families, Thank you so much for coming out and sharing your day with us today! We are delighted to call the first Franklin Craft Fair (that we recall) a success! It is heartwarming to feel the support of this caring community as our fifth grade falcons prepare to fledge. A first grader’s grandmother shared her popcorn machine and joined us to scoop and sell popcorn all afternoon. Thank you Marie Caruso! The Borne Family shared their power and let us feed our extension cords across their back yard! Thank you Bornes! Kat Horion shared her face painting talents to bring sparkle and smiles to countless little faces. Thank you Kat!
The Newton North High School singing group, the Melocotones, delighted us with their holiday vocals! Thank you to Erica Terk who copied and distributed our flyer to the entire fifth grade! We had many volunteers help gift wrap, set up/break down and sell snacks, crafts and hot chocolate. Thank you Elizabeth Reilly, Ele Horion, Sadie Berman, Ashlyn Chan, Eileen O'Brien, Heather Adams, Leana Chan, Giuliana Forte, Paola Ordonez, Carolina Darcy, Janice Ferrer, Megan Reilly, and Natalia Ferrer. And lastly we must thank our bakers, crafters and suppliers: Erin Kelly, Ele and Brad Horion, Jean Stehle, Chris Daly, Tim Darcy, Leana Chan, Mo McAleer, Grace Nicolazzo, Haillie Shinohara, Giulia Nicolazzo, Martina Talarico, Rachel Kammer, Heather Adams, Surabhi Agrawal, Cheryl Wermer, Anna Fiorentina-Hardy, Dana Proos, Melissa Hafner, and Heather Budd. Thank you!
Because of your kindness, the fifth grade class is off to a great start in funding a fantastic celebration to commemorate this first major milestone of many. With Gratitude, Marisa and Ellen The Fifth Grade Moving On Committee Co-Chairs franklinmovingon22@gmail.com
