One more week for Cookie Dough Fundraiser Orders & Blue Zone rules!


Hello Franklin families!


There's only ONE MORE WEEK for our Franklin Cookie Dough Fundraiser! It ends next Wednesday, October 20th!

There are six delicious flavors to choose from - chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, sugar, white chocolate macadamia, and caramel pecan chocolate chip! Each 2 lb. tub is $12, and there is also a special super-sized 2.7 lb. chunky chocolate chip version for $16 (online orders have a $.95 processing fee). Students can sell cookie dough in-person using the order-takers that they received in their student folders OR they can direct family and friends to order cookie dough through the online store at www.iraisemore.com, Group ID 57804.


Please remember to only sell LOCALLY - all of the cookie dough, either purchased online or in-person - will be delivered to Franklin in mid-November, so students will need to hand-deliver the cookie dough tubs. There will be no option to ship cookie dough directly to buyers.


We can accept cash or checks made payable to: Franklin PTO. Please send in order forms and payments to your classroom teachers or directly to the PTO. We will be collecting orders and payments in-person in front of the school next week on October 21 and 22 from 8:00am-8:30am and 2:40pm-3:10pm.

1. Use the physical order-taker to write orders and collect funds on the spot. 2. Text/share our Online Store to LOCAL friends and family. Supporters will buy online using their credit card. Sellers - Please remember:

* SHARE LOCALLY ONLY. You must hand-deliver items to your supporters. * Buyers will indicate WHO they are supporting in the Checkout (first and last name of the student). At the end of the fundraiser, the PTO will provide you a sales report of the online sales. * Don't indicate your online/credit card sales on your physical order-taker.* Have any questions? Finally, we wanted to share a "Help Keep the Blue Zone Safe" flyer created by our Safe Routes to School Representative, Mike Halle. As Principal Chitty mentioned in his email update yesterday, it is so important that everyone follows the Blue Zone rules. During arrival and dismissal times, the curb along the street in front of the school is exclusively for live parking, which means that drivers must stay with the vehicle and drive away as soon as their child is in the car. Kids should be able to independently get in and out of their car without any assistance from the driver. There can be absolutely no double parking in this area as this creates a hazard for children. Every day, we see Principal Chitty monitoring the Blue Zone and he is constantly having to speak to drivers and let them know that they cannot double park. If you need to park and walk up to the school, please park on a neighboring street. Thank you so much for your cooperation!
