Hello Franklin families!
Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us this past Saturday night at Post 440 for our Live/Silent Auction and Trivia Night event! A huge thanks to our auction chair, Nancy Maida, for all of her incredible work with the online auction, silent auction, and live auction items. The online auction raised an incredible $13,317 for Franklin and we want to thank Nisha Karna as well for helping to coordinate the "Franklin-only" items. The live & silent auction items at our Saturday event raised $3,345, and we raised another $1,300 from the event itself (ticket sales minus expenses). Thank you so much to Mike Maida and Siobhan Crosby, for being our co-auctioneers, and getting some really high bids going for our live auction items! We are always amazed at how generous everyone is and every dollar goes to support our school! Thank you so much to Dave Smith & Emilie Chang for planning the trivia night event! We had a great game with a new trivia host, Phrenology Trivia, this year, food, desserts, a photo station with polaroid cameras, awesome balloons, fresh flowers, and everyone had a fun time! Clean up and set up volunteers - we couldn't have done it without you. Ranjani, Lisa M., Nancy, Mike, Graham, Yelena, Allison, Jeff, Lisa P., Yael - you are all the best!! After a fierce battle between 17 teams, THE WINNERS OF THE NIGHT: Team Generating Response (Alisa, Ajit, Janna, Shawn, Tricia, Roger, Ami, Tim, Paola, & Chris) - big congrats to you all! They were presented with a bag of smarties, Franklin magnets, awesome sweatshirt style blankets personalized with "FRANKLIN TRIVIA CHAMPIONS", and of course, bragging rights for an entire year!
